Notice is hereby given of a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM at: Missouri City, City Hall Council Chambers, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, Texas, 77489, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.  All agenda items are subject to action.  The City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

This is an opportunity for the public to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on items/concerns not on the agenda. Public comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes per individual and to ten (10) minutes per subject. Public comments may address items that are not on the agenda.

PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT THE PALACE EVENT CENTER

1.

Public Hearing -To receive comments for or against a request by Matthew Gamble, PLACE Designers Inc., to rezone an approximate 17.0110 acres of land, from SD, suburban district and R, rural single-family district to PD, planned development district to allow for an event center, hotel, individual cottages, and associated parking and amenities; and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom.

The site is located on the south side of Fort Bend Parkway, south of Watts Plantation Rd., along the west side of Knight Road, east of residential subdivision Estates of Silver Ridge and west of Planned Development (PD) 68 a proposed single-family residential development.

PD Planned Development District #35 Amendment

1.

Public Hearing - To receive comments for or against a request by Crossing at Sienna Ranch 2023 Interest, Ltd., to amend rules and restrictions to allow for a proposed restaurant with drive-through facility on an approximate 1.63 acre tract; and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom.

PD, Planned Development District No. 35 is located to the north of the Gulf Coast Water Authority canal and Sienna Acreage Estates, south of Waterbrook West, east of Silver Ridge and west of Sienna Village of Bees Creek. The 1.63-acre tract for the proposed restaurant with drive-through facility is located at the northwestern corner of the Sienna Ranch Road and Sienna Parkway intersection.
