UM, WE JUST WANTED TO PROVIDE AN UPDATE FOR THE MONTH ON THE HUNTERS GLEN JOING TRAIL.

UM, IN CASE Y'ALL AREN'T FAMILIAR, IT'S A 3.25 MILE DECOMPOSED GRANITE TRAIL.

UM, WE HAVE RECENTLY RECEIVED, UM, $2 MILLION TOTAL IN, UH, BOND AND GRANT FUNDS TO IMPROVE THE JOGGING TRAIL.

UM, 1 MILLION OF WHICH IS COMING FROM AN HGAC GRANT.

UM, PART OF THE CONDITIONS FOR RECEIVING THESE FUNDS ARE, UH, THERE'S A CONNECTIVITY COMPONENT.

THE TR THE EXISTING TRAIL IS, UH, VERY CLOSE TO A METRO STOP, WHICH WOULD ALLOW CONNECTING INTO THE CITY OF HOUSTON.

UM, SO BY ACQUIRING A SMALL PARCEL OF LAND, UM, I BELIEVE, UH, THIS SHOULD BE, UH, BASED.

UM, THIS SCOPE OF WORK IS SOMETHING THAT WE ARE WORKING TO ACHIEVE.

UM,

NOW WITH THIS, WITH THESE $2 MILLION IN FUNDS, UM, PART OF THE SCOPE WILL BE TO CONVERT THE, UH, GRANITE TRAIL INTO CONCRETE.

BUT WE ALSO WILL HAVE ADDITION.

THERE ALSO ARE ENOUGH FUNDS TO ADD SOME AMENITIES AROUND THE TRAIL.

AND SO WE HAVE SOME OPTIONS THAT WE ARE LOOKING AT AND I JUST WANTED TO GATHER SOME FEEDBACK FROM THE PARKS BOARD TO SEE IF Y'ALL HAVE ANY PREFERENCES OVER SOME POTENTIAL AMENITIES THAT WE COULD ADD.

SO WE COULD, UM, WE'RE LOOKING AT, UM, IMPROVING LIGHTING, UM, PERHAPS DOING AN EMERGENCY SAFETY CALL BOX.
