Notice is hereby given of a City Council Regular Meeting of the City of Missouri City to be held for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

City Manager Report - Provide an overview of Consent Agenda items and announcements of community interest.

CONSENT AGENDA

All consent agenda items listed under "Consent Agenda" are considered routine and require little or no deliberation by the City Council. These items will be enacted/approved by one motion unless a councilmember requests separate action on an item, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered by separate action. Approval of the Consent Agenda enacts the items of legislation.

Consideration and Possible Action - Authorize the City Manager to execute a 3-year contract with PVS DX, Inc. for supply of multiple chemicals to the City's water and wastewater treatment plants, in an amount not to exceed $2,236,500 over the 3-year contract term.

Consideration and Possible Action - Authorize the City Manager to execute a 3-year contract with Shannon Chemical Corporation for supply of Citric Acid to the City's Surface Water Treatment Plant, in an amount not to exceed $189,708 over the 3-year contract term.

Consideration and Possible Action - Authorize the City Manager to execute a 3-year contract with USALCO, LLC. for supply of Aluminum Chlorohydrate to the City's Surface Water Treatment Plant, in an amount not to exceed $2,948,502 over the 3-year contract term.

Consideration and Possible Action - First of Two Readings - An ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, approving and ratifying a meet and confer agreement between the City and the Missouri City Police Officers Association pursuant to Subchapter B of Chapter 42 of the Texas Local Government Code for a term beginning on October 1, 2024, and ending on September 30, 2027.

9.

CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION

The City Council may go into Executive Session regarding any item posted on the Agenda as authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

(a)

Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 – Consultation with attorney to seek or receive legal advice regarding pending or contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open Meetings Act: (i) Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Docket No. 2024-1268-MWD-E (Enforcement Case No. 66515).
