Notice is hereby given of a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM at: Missouri City, City Hall Council Chambers, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, Texas, 77489, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.  All agenda items are subject to action.  The Planning and Zoning Commission reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

An opportunity for the public to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on agenda items or concerns not on the agenda—those wishing to speak must complete the blue comment form, present the comment form to the designated City staff representative prior to the beginning of the meeting, and observe a three-minute time limit per individual and ten-minute time limit per subject

Each item will be approved as recommended in the corresponding staff report, which includes conditional approvals for plats. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Commissioner or Applicant so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS

Specific Use Permit - Glenn Lake Cell Tower

1.

Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Katie Harms, Atlas Towers for a SUP, specific use permit approval on an approximate 2,500 square foot tract of land out of a larger 15.43-acre tract of land, to allow for the placement of a new telecommunication site consisting of a 155-foot-tall monopole tower and associated equipment; and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom.

The site is located north of the Lake Olympia residential subdivision, southeast of the intersection of Glenn Lakes Lane and Mission Valley Drive; south of Community Park; east of Mission Valley Drive; and west of the Parks Edge residential subdivision.
