AND WHAT WE SEE STATISTICALLY IS THOSE TWO CATEGORIES USE THE FACILITIES IN VERY DIFFERENT FORMATS. SO YOUR PRIVATE ONES ARE ALWAYS A LITTLE BIT SMALLER, A LITTLE MORE SECLUDED, NOT USING THE FACILITIES AS STRONGLY. WHEREAS YOUR COMMERCIAL AND PUBLIC USE WILL USE BASICALLY THE WHOLE GAMUT OF THE PARK. AND SO WHAT WE'RE PROPOSING IS TO FOLLOW OUR PERMITTING PROCESS PROCESS THAT'S ALREADY IN PLACE. BUT IF YOU HAVE A COMMERCIAL OR PUBLIC USE, YOU WOULD PAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $100. IF YOU'RE A MISSOURI CITY RESIDENT OR COMMERCIAL ENTITY, OR A NON-CITY $200 FEE. OKAY. THIS WAS ONE THAT WE HAD A 1% DECREASE IN A LOT OF WHAT I'M ATTRIBUTING THIS TO, AND WHAT I'M THINKING IT IS, IS WE TRIED A LOT OF DIFFERENT NEW PROGRAMS, AND WE DIDN'T WANT STAFF PUTTING OUT A WHOLE SIX MONTH, THREE MONTH PROGRAM WITH ALL THESE DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES.

IF IT WASN'T SOMETHING THE COMMUNITY WANTED. SO WE WERE KIND OF DIPPING OUR TOES IN THE WATER AND SEE IF THEY WANTED. FOR EXAMPLE, WE HAD A ADULT VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE THAT JUST ENDED. WE HAD FOUR TEAMS IN IT. WE HAD A FOUR WEEK SEASON, WE HAD EIGHT GAMES, SO IT WAS TWO GAMES A WEEK. BUT USUALLY THOSE YOU SEE, THOSE ARE EIGHT WEEKS TO 12 WEEKS LONG. AND SO THOSE ARE KIND OF WHY I THINK THE RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WERE A LITTLE BIT LOWER, 1% LOWER PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. SO 2024 2025, WE SAW 35% INCREASE IN PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. OUR SUMMER CAMP WENT UP, OUR HOMESCHOOL RECESS PROGRAM WENT UP, TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL. IF YOU ALL HAVE EVER MET OUR RECREATION SPECIALIST, CHRISTINA, SHE IS AN ALL STAR AND HER TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL PROGRAMS JUST CONTINUE TO SKYROCKET. SO THAT'S ALSO A 35% INCREASE. THAT'S ONE THAT I'M STILL HOPING I CAN INCREASE, BUT 35% INCREASE IS REALLY IMPRESSIVE AND TESTAMENT TO OUR STAFF. REVENUE. WE'RE UP 44% ON THAT.
