THE CITY OF MISSOURI CITY, ALONG WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PROUDLY PRESENTS THE SHOW-ME CITY CLEAN RESTAURANT AWARDS TO HONOR RESTAURANTS THAT HAVE DEMONSTRATED OUTSTANDING COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS AND PUBLIC HEALTH. TO QUALIFY, A RESTAURANT MUST COOK AND SERVE DINING FOOD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND RECEIVE A PERFECT SCORE OF 100 ON BOTH SEMIANNUAL ROUTINE HEALTH INSPECTIONS WITHIN A 12 MONTH PERIOD. THIS MEANS NO CRITICAL VIOLATIONS AND MAINTAINING A VALID HEALTH PERMIT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. BETWEEN JANUARY 2025 AND

DECEMBER 2025, 118 RESTAURANTS WERE INSPECTED. OF THOSE, ONLY FIVE EARNED A PERFECT SCORE ON BOTH INSPECTIONS. THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT. THIS RECOGNITION REFLECTS THE HARD WORK OF OWNERS, MANAGERS AND STAFF WHO MAKE FOOD SAFETY A DAILY PRIORITY. THEIR CONSISTENCY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL HELPED BUILD TRUST WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY. MAYOR. COUNCIL MEMBERS I HAVE SEVERAL ITEMS TONIGHT STARTING WITH. FIRST, I AM PLEASED TO INTRODUCE OUR NEW PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, MR. MUSTAFA AL AL DAWSON. HE JOINED US LAST WEEK.

MUSTAFA HAS NEARLY 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ENGINEERING, PUBLIC WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT. MOST RECENTLY, HE SERVED AS THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICES AND CITY ENGINEER FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, WHERE HE LED ROADWAY DRAINAGE, UTILITY AND FACILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. HIS BACKGROUND IN MANAGING COMPLEX CAPITAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS WILL BE A STRONG ASSET AS WE CONTINUE FOCUSING ON RELIABLE SERVICE DELIVERY AND LONG TERM INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING. SO WELCOME.
