(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against the designation of Reinvestment Zone No. 6 for tax abatement purposes, to be located in portions of Lots 8, 9 and 10 in Lakeview Business Park, in the vicinity of Fondren Road and Buffalo Run within the City of Missouri City; and to consider the ordinance related thereto on the first of two readings.

9. PUBLIC COMMENTS - An opportunity for the public to address Council on items/concerns not on this agenda.
8. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider authorizing the parkland dedication for Hampton Pointe.
(b) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and City Secretary to attest to the Interlocal agreement between the City of Missouri City, Texas and Fort Bend Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 providing for assistance in improvements to Stafford Run Creek.
(c) Consider authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute the agreement for the Purchase and Sale of Real Property between the City of Missouri City, Texas and Sienna/Johnson Development, L.P. for the future location of City of Missouri City Fire Station Number 5.
(d) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute the sub-recipient agreement for a Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant and authorize execution of the contract for Catastrophic Preparedness Services with Beck Disaster Recovery Incorporated.
(e) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and City Secretary to attest to the Interlocal agreement between the City of Missouri City, Texas and Fort Bend Independent School District providing for assistance in various governmental functions and services.
10. ORDINANCES
(a) Consider an Ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending Chapter 34, Finance and Taxation, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri City, Texas; levying a tax on the price paid for a room in a hotel or motel; providing an effective date; providing a penalty; and providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(b) Consider an Ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending Chapter 2, Administration, and Chapter 42, Floods, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri City, Texas; providing rules and regulations for the Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals in relation to flood ordinance variances; providing rules and regulations for flood plain management; providing an effective date; providing a penalty; and providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(c) Consider an Ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending Chapter 74, Parks and Recreation, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri City, Texas; amending rules regarding officers of the Parks Board; providing an effective date; and providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. (d) Consider an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending the general budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, and ending June 30, 2010, transferring various appropriations among accounts; appropriating supplemental revenue to various fund accounts; authorizing the appropriate city officials to take steps necessary to accomplish such transfers; making certain findings; and containing certain provisions relating to the subject; and to consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.

(a) Consider a resolution of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending the Planning and Development permit schedule of fees by eliminating fees for plumbing contractors; providing an effective date and repealing Resolution R-08-36, adopted on November 17,
2008.
