5. CONSENT AGENDA - All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a
Councilmember so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and
considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is
available for public review.
(a) Consider approving the minutes of the special and regular City Council meetings of March 15, 2010.
(b) Consider authorizing the purchase of an annual maintenance agreement for CISCO computer hardware.
(c) Consider authorizing the purchase of an annual maintenance agreement for application software from Sungard Public Sector.
(d) Consider authorizing bid for purchase of emulsion storage tank.
6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ACTIONS
(a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Aaron Galloway on behalf of the Missouri City Church of Christ to amend Specific Use Permit #1
(Ordinance O-81-22) to allow for additional deviations to monument sign regulations;
providing for penalty; providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on
the first of two readings. The subject site is located north of Evans Road, west of
the Bradford Village Residential Subdivision, south of Glover Elementary, and east
of the Meadow Creek Residential Subdivision.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Jeff Rees, Pastor of the Grace Fellowship of Fort Bend on behalf of owners Asho, LP, City of Missouri City, TX, Colony Baptist Church, Crossing at Sienna Ranch, Ltd., Diocese of Galveston-Houston, First Sienna Group, Ltd., Fort Bend Independent School District, Sarah Anne Register 1992 Qualified Subchapter S. Trust, Shops at Sienna Ranch, Sienna 93, LP, Sienna Johnson North, LP, Sienna Plantation Levee Improvement District, and the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church (Harvest United Methodist Church) to amend Ordinance O-07-42 pertaining to PD, Planned Development District #35 to allow for the locating of a place of assembly: church or other religious institution within Tract I-11-21; providing for penalty; providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located along the west side of Sienna Parkway and is west of the Waterbrook and Silver Ridge residential subdivisions, south of the Waterbrook West residential subdivision, and north of the Woods residential subdivision.

(a) Consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending City of Missouri City
Ordinance No. O-10-05 adopted on February 15, 2010, providing for a General Election
to be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010, jointly with other entities contracting with Fort Bend
County for this Joint Election for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Two At-Large
Councilmembers; amending the caption of such ordinance; amending Exhibit A of such
ordinance by amending certain times for early voting by personal appearance in the
General Election; providing for repeal; providing for severability; containing other provisions
(b) Consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending City of Missouri City
Ordinance No. O-10-07 adopted on March 1, 2010, providing for a Special Election to be
held on Saturday, May 8, 2010, jointly with other entities contracting with Fort Bend County
for this Joint Election for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of
Missouri City, Texas, a proposition relating to the adoption of an ordinance prohibiting
smoking in certain public places and a proposition relating to the adoption of an
ordinance regulating City-Wide Municipal Consolidation of Trash Collection; amending
the caption of such ordinance; amending Exhibit A of such ordinance by amending certain
times for early voting by personal appearance in the Special Election; providing for repeal;
providing for severability; containing other provisions relating to the subject; and to
consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.
