2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by the Clements High School NJROTC.

(a) Announcement and plaque presentation of this year’s Golden Tree Awards. Awards will go to CenterPoint Energy and Apache Corp.
(b) Recognize two Boy Scouts for completing Eagle Scout community projects: Brian Eaton
and Ryan Kelly.

5. CONSENT AGENDA - All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items

(a) Consider approving the minutes of the special and regular City Council meetings of May 3, 2010.
(b) Receive the report on the review of the Lake Olympia Parkway Extension Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvements Plan and order a public hearing on June 21, 2010, to consider the report and determine whether or not to amend the Land Use Assumptions, and Capital Improvements Plan and the Impact Fee.
(c) Consider award of a contract for storm water management services.
(d) Consider award of a contract for mosquito spraying services.
(e) Consider accepting report concerning impact fees and the capital improvements plan from the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee.

(c) Consider authorization of change order #3 to contract # 128-07 Design for Surface
Water Treatment Plant.
(d) Consider authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement for
design services for the Golf Course Club House and Community Center.
(e) Consider authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement for
design services for the Tennis & Recreation Center.

Building Code; repealing all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith; providing for severability; providing a penalty; providing an effective date; and
consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.

Environment, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri City, Texas; amending
rules and regulations concerning environmental nuisances; repealing all other
ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; providing a penalty; providing for
severability; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.
11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, supporting
Analysts, Inc.’s application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for
a Municipal Setting Designation for groundwater beneath 12715 Royal Drive, certain
surrounding parcels, and a portion of Royal Drive, Stafford, Texas; and providing for
severability.
(b) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, authorizing
submission of a nomination to the Houston-Galveston Area Council for funding for
an Access Management Study on Texas Parkway (FM 2234); committing a local
match of at least twenty percent (20%); certifying funding; designating the Director of
Public Works as the authorized official for the nomination; and containing other
provisions related thereto.

13. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION The City Council may go into Executive Session regarding any item posted on the Agenda as
authorized by Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. Notice is hereby given that the
City Council may go into Executive Session in accordance with the following provisions of the
Government Code
Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 - Consultation with attorney to seek or receive
legal advice regarding pending or contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or on a matter which the
duty of the attorney to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the
State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Texas Open Meetings Act: eminent domain proceeding
relating to the Quail Valley golf course.
Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 - Personnel Matters: Deliberations regarding
Council’s consideration of the appointment of an officer to fill the vacancy in District B.
