4. STAFF REPORTS
(a) City Manager will present an overview of the Annual Budget.
(b) The Missouri City Police Department will present a comparative report of crime data from 2006 to 2009 of several local cities using official UCR data, as reported by the State of Texas.
(c) The Public Works Department will provide an update on traffic safety measures implemented at the intersection of Watts Plantation Road and Sienna Parkway.
5. CONSENT AGENDA - All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. 8. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider ratifying the execution by the City Manager of a contract with Sienna/Johnson North, L.P., for the purchase of 9.808 acres of land for access to the Surface Water Treatment Plant; consider authorizing City Staff to negotiate and the Mayor to accept and City Secretary to attest a deed from Sienna/Johnson North, L.P., for 9.808 acres of land for access to the Surface Water Treatment Plant; consider authorizing City Staff to negotiate and the Mayor to accept and City Secretary to attest a deed from Sienna/Johnson North, L.P., and Sienna 93, L.P., for 1.005 acres of land for access to the Surface Water Treatment Plant; and consider authorizing City Staff to negotiate and the Mayor to accept and City Secretary to attest all necessary documentation to accomplish the conveyances from Sienna/Johnson North, L.P., and Sienna Plantation Resident Association, Inc., for property for the northbound water transmission lines from the Surface Water Treatment Plant to Water Treatment Plant No. 2 in Sienna Plantation.
(b) Consider authorizing City Staff to negotiate and the Mayor to accept and City Secretary to attest a deed from Sienna Plantation Municipal Utility District No. 1 for 1.0 acre of land for the Fire Station No. 5 site and consider authorizing City Staff to negotiate and the Mayor to accept and City Secretary to attest a deed from Sienna/Johnson Development, L.P., for 0.487 acre of land for the Fire Station No. 5 site.
(c) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest an Interlocal Project Agreement between Fort Bend County and the City of Missouri City, Texas for construction improvements to South Gessner Road and Cravens Road.

11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution of the City of Missouri City, Texas approving the submission of the Community Oriented Policing Services hiring Recovery Program Grant Application to the Department of Justice to fund the hiring of additional Police Officers; designating the Administrative Captain as the authorized Representative of the City for submitting such application and the Mayor as the City’s authorized official to accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant; and containing other provisions related thereto.
(b) Consider a resolution of the City of Missouri City, Texas approving the submission of the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Application to the Department of Justice to fund the purchase of equipment needed by the Police Department Dive Team; designating the Administrative Captain as the authorized representative of the City for submitting such application and the Mayor as the City’s authorized official to accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant; and containing other provisions related thereto.
(c) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, promoting safe driving and supporting AT&T in its effort to educate the general public about the danger of texting while driving.
