(a) Consider appointing members to the Transportation Policy Council (TPC) and the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
9. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider awarding a term contract for Drainage Ditch Cleaning and Excavation.
(b) Consider authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement for Phase II design of the Quail Valley Community Center and Pro Shop.
(c) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest instruments granting easements to Kinder Morgan Tejas Pipeline LLC for the relocation of a valve site and for the construction of an access road in Independence Park.
(d) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest an Interlocal Project Agreement between the City of Rosenberg, the City of Stafford, the City of Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, and the City of Missouri City, Texas, to establish a Fort Bend County Regional Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
(e) Consider authorizing the Mayor to terminate the Supplemental Terms and Conditions Agreement for the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) Grant Assistance Program for a type 6 fire engine.
(f) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest an Interlocal Project Agreement between Fort Bend County and the City of Missouri City, Texas, for the extension of Vicksburg Boulevard from Lake Olympia Parkway to Aldridge Drive.
(g) Consider a property status report on the property located at 2219 Long Barrel Lane in
the City of Missouri City, Texas; consider authorizing City Staff to take appropriate actions to
accomplish Missouri City Code compliance.
10. ORDINANCES
(a) Consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending Chapter 78, Solid
Waste, of the Missouri City code; amending the rules and regulations related to the unlawful
disposal of waste and amending the rules and regulations related to city residential solid
waste service levels; providing a penalty; providing for repeal; and providing for severability;
and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(b) Consider an ordinance repealing Ordinance No. O-10-34 and changing the boundaries of
Reinvestment Zone Number Two, City of Missouri City by the exclusion of a 110.9301-
acre tract of land north of and adjacent to Lake Olympia Parkway and west of the Fort Bend
Parkway; repealing all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; and
providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the second and final
reading.
(c) Consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, amending Chapter 14,
Buildings and Building Regulations, by rescinding regulations for change of occupant
inspections and sellers’ disclosure notice requirements; repealing ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith; providing for severability; providing a penalty; providing an
effective date; and to consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.
(d) Consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, extending the city limits of the
City of Missouri City, Texas, to include all that land area within Newpoint Estates, Sections
1, 2 and 3, not currently within the city limits of the City of Missouri City, Texas, and not
within the city limits of the City of Arcola, Texas, and annexing to the City of Missouri City,
Texas, all of the areas within such tracts; approving service plans for all of the areas within
such tracts; adding said tracts to Council District D; and providing a savings and severability
clause; and to consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.
11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, authorizing the Cities Aggregation Power Project, Inc., (CAPP) to negotiate an extension to the current electric supply and necessary related services agreement with Next ERA for a fixed price per kWh that is lower that contract rates for 2011-2013, said extension to continue until December 31, 2018; authorizing CAPP to act as an agent on behalf of the City of Missouri City to enter into a contract for electricity; authorizing the chairman of CAPP to execute an extension to the current electric supply agreement for deliveries of electricity effective January 1, 2011 or as soon after finalization of a contract as possible; committing to budget for energy purchases and to honor the City of Missouri City's commitment to purchase power through CAPP for its electrical needs through December 31, 2018.
(b) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, granting consent to Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 129 to annex certain land situated within the extraterritorial limits of the City of Missouri City, Texas.
(c) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, granting consent to Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 15 for the annexation of approximately 9.34 acres of land situated within the extraterritorial limits of the City of Missouri City, Texas.
