(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Chad Millis on behalf of Bomar Properties LLC to rezone approximately 5.26 acres of land from
LC-3 Retail District to PD Planned Development District No. 83 for the development of a mixed use complex to include certain retail district, storage and service yard, and warehouse uses; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. The subject site is located within the Tang City Plaza subdivision.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against proposed amendments to Section 4, Definitions, and Section 9, Supplementary District Regulations, contained in the City of Missouri City Zoning Ordinance and pertaining to screening trash disposal areas; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(b) Public Hearings and related actions
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a proposed ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, creating Reinvestment Zone No. 10 for tax abatement purposes encompassing Reserves 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of Lakeview Business Park, a recorded subdivision in Fort Bend County, Texas, and located southwest of the intersection of Buffalo Run and Fondren Road in the City of Missouri City, Texas; making related findings; providing for severability; and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against the proposed levy of assessments on the residential lots within Section 4, Lake Shore Harbour subdivision, for public improvements in Public Improvement District No.2, and to consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest a tax abatement agreement by and between the City of Missouri City, Texas, and Niagara Bottling, LLC, pertaining to certain improvements to Reserves 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of the Lakeview Business Park located in Reinvestment Zone No. 10 in the City of Missouri City, Texas.
(b) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, authorizing the Mayor to execute and the City Secretary to attest an economic development agreement by and between the City of Missouri City, Texas, and Niagara Bottling, LLC, pertaining to certain improvements to Reserves 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of the Lakeview Business Park located in the City of Missouri City, Texas.
(c) Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas, approving cooperation with the Gulf Coast Coalition of Cities to review Centerpoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC's requested approval of an adjustment to its energy efficiency cost recovery factor; hiring legal and consulting services to negotiate with the company and direct any necessary litigation and appeals; finding that the meeting at which this resolution is passed is open to the public as required by law; and requiring notice of this resolution to legal counsel.
