3. PRESENTATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS
(a) Recognize the City's Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant project for receiving the Texas Public Works Association's Project of the Year in Environmental Excellence.
(b) Presentation of a check by the Missouri City Police & Fire Auxiliary in the amount of $12,000 to the City of Missouri City Police and Fire Departments.

6. CONSENT AGENDA - All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. (a) Consider approving the minutes of the special City Council meeting of May 29, 2012, the special City Council meeting of May 31, 2012, and the special and regular City Council meetings of June 4, 2012.
(b) Consider awarding a contract for plumbing services for municipal facilities.
(c) Consider awarding a contract for janitorial services for the surface water treatment plant.
(d) Consider awarding a contract for janitorial services for the recreation and tennis center.
(e) Consider authorizing the donation of salvaged personal property to the Texas Forest Service.
(f) Consider rescinding authorization for the purchase of furniture from Furniture Systems and Cubicles and authorizing the purchase of furniture from Carroll's Discount Furniture.

(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against proposed amendments to Section 4, Definitions, and Section 13, Sign Regulations, contained in the City of Missouri City Zoning Ordinance and pertaining to the regulation of signs; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by John Sutton of PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. on behalf of A-S 91 Ft. Bend Parkway - Hwy 6, L.P., Kroger, Texas L.P., Dr. Assad Sergie, SMBC Leasing and Finance Inc., and HW 6 #2 J.V. to amend Planned Development District #62 (Ordinance O-11-02) to allow for deviations to Section 13, Sign Regulations, of the City of Missouri City Zoning Ordinance; providing a penalty; providing for severability; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. The subject site is located southeast of the intersection of State Highway 6 and Vicksburg Boulevard, southwest of the intersection of State Highway 6 and the Fort Bend Toll Road and east of the Oakwick Forest Estates Residential Subdivision.

(1) Public hearing to receive comments regarding a proposed ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, continuing the standards of care for certain elementaryage recreation programs operated by the City of Missouri City; repealing all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; providing for severability; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments related to the FY 2013 proposed Budget; and consider an ordinance of the City of Missouri City, Texas, approving and adopting the City of Missouri City, Texas General Budget for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2012, and ending June 30, 2013; making appropriations for the City for such fiscal year as reflected in said budget; making certain findings; containing certain provisions relating to the subject; and consider adopting the ordinance on the first and final reading.

12. CITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENTS
(a) Update on discussions with METRO regarding future participation.
