PUBLIC COMMENTS An opportunity for the public to address Council on agenda items or concerns not on the agenda-- those wishing to speak must complete the orange comment card, present the comment card to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of the meeting, and observe a three-minute time limit.
5. STAFF REPORTS - There are no Staff Reports on this agenda.
6. CONSENT AGENDA All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a councilmember so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public review.
(a) Consider approving the minutes of the regular City Council meeting of March 17, 2014.
(b) Consider the second and final reading of an ordinance regarding the vacation, closure, and abandonment of certain segments of Senior Road right-of-way; finding and determining that public convenience and necessity no longer require the continued existence of certain segments of Senior Road right-of-way; providing for the vacation, closure, and abandonment of such certain segments of Senior Road right-of-way; and containing other provisions relating to the subject.
9. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider authorizing the Exchange Club of Fort Bend to post a child abuse awareness display along U.S. Highway 90A and Present Street.
(b) Consider authorizing the Mayor to accept a general warranty deed from Trustmark National Bank for right of way for the extension of Vicksburg Boulevard.
7. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ACTIONS
(a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to rezone an approximate 0.4744-acre tract of land from LC-3 retail district to PD Planned Development District to facilitate the development of a new building for an insurance company and to allow for uses permitted within an LC-3 retail district and to amend the Comprehensive Plan, as applicable; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located north of Third Street, east of Texas Parkway, south of Highway 90A and west of Orchard Street.
(b) Public Hearings and related actions - There are no public hearings and related actions on this agenda.

(a) Consider an ordinance amending Exhibit B of Ordinance No. O-14-08, adopted on February 17, 2014; amending the early voting polling places for the general and special elections to be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, providing for repeal; providing for severability; and making other provisions related to the subject; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.
(a) Considerar una ordenanza de la Ciudad de Missouri City, Texas, que enmienda el Anexo B de la Ordenanza N° O-14-08, adoptada el 17 de febrero de 2014, enmendando los lugares de votación temprana para la elección general y especial a llevarse a cabo el sábado 10 de mayo de 2014, que dispone la revocación; que dispone la separabilidad, y que establece otras estipulaciones relacionadas al tema; y considerar la ordenanza en la lectura primera y final.
