(c) Proclaim the month of May 2014 as "Building Safety Month" in the City of Missouri City, Texas.
(d) Presentation of a check to Facilities Superintendent Bill Cronin by CLEAResult for the City's participation in CenterPoint Energy's CORE/Smart program.

PUBLIC COMMENTS An opportunity for the public to address Council on agenda items or concerns not on the agenda-- those wishing to speak must complete the orange comment card, present the comment card to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of the meeting, and observe a three-minute time limit.
5. STAFF REPORTS
(a) Presentation of the Quarterly Investment Report ending on March 31, 2014.
6. CONSENT AGENDA All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a councilmember so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public review.
(a) Consider approving the minutes of the special City Council meeting of April 15, 2014, and the special and regular City Council meetings of April 21, 2014.
(b) Consider authorizing the purchase of a geographic information systems software subscription and related maintenance.
(c) Consider accepting the quarterly investment report ending on March 31, 2014.
(d) Consider authorizing the submission of the 2014 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
(e) Consider awarding contract for concrete pavement lifting and repair services.
7. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ACTIONS
(a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to amend the sign regulations contained in the specific use permit for St. Catherine of Sienna Episcopal Church and to amend the Comprehensive Plan, as applicable; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. The subject site is located to the east of Waterbrook West residential subdivision and to the west of the Waterbrook residential subdivision.
(b) Public Hearings and related actions - There are no public hearings and related actions on this agenda.
8. APPOINTMENTS - There are no appointments on this agenda.
9. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute a water supply contract with the Gulf Coast Water Authority.
(b) Consider authorizing staff to negotiate and execute an audit services agreement.

11. RESOLUTIONS - There are no resolutions on this agenda.
