7. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ACTIONS
(a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request for a specific use permit to locate an assisted living facility within an existing single family residential home; amend the Comprehensive Plan, as applicable; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located at 1405 Adams Street.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to rezone an approximate 119.87 acres of land from I industrial district, LC-3 retail district and R-5 townhouse residential district to PD Planned Development District to allow for the development of a business park; amending the Comprehensive Plan, as applicable; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located south and west of the intersection of the Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8) and Highway 90A and east of Cravens Road and the Pine Meadows residential subdivision.
(3) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to rezone an approximate 3.52 acre tract of land from LC-3 retail district to PD Planned Development District to allow for the development of a mini-warehouse facility; amending the Comprehensive Plan as applicable; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located south and west of the intersection of the Highway 6 and Trammel Fresno Road, south and east of a Discount Tire store, and north of the Oakwick Forest residential subdivision.
(b) Public Hearings and related actions
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a proposed ordinance creating Reinvestment Zone No. 14 for tax abatement purposes; encompassing an approximate 6.2087-acre tract of land located southwest of the intersection of Buffalo Run and Fondren Road in the City of Missouri City, Texas; making related findings; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 82, Subdivisions, of the Missouri City Code; amending rules and regulations relating to providing a cash payment in lieu of parkland dedication; providing a penalty; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.

9. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider authorizing a proposal on an ad valorem tax rate by record vote and consider setting the dates for public hearings and the adoption of such proposal on a future meeting agenda.

(a) Consider an ordinance amending the general budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2015; transferring various appropriations among accounts; appropriating supplemental revenue to various fund accounts; authorizing the appropriate city officials to take steps necessary to accomplish such transfers; making certain findings; and containing certain provisions relating to the subject.
11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution authorizing the mayor to execute and the city secretary to attest a tax abatement agreement by and between the City of Missouri City, Texas, and Lufkin Industries, LLC, pertaining to certain new improvements to be located at Reserve 28 of Lakeview Business Park within Reinvestment Zone No. 14 in the city.
