(a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to rezone an approximate 4.32-acre tract of land from LC-2 local retail district to LC-3 retail district; amending the comprehensive plan, as applicable; and consider an ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located at 3801 - 3843 Cartwright Road, southwest of the FM 1092 and Cartwright Road intersection; north of the American Mini Storage facility and the Plantation Trails residential subdivision; and east of the Missouri City Municipal Court and Missouri City Police Department.
(2) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request to rezone an approximate 2-acre tract of land from LC-2 local retail district to LC-3 retail district; amending the comprehensive plan, as applicable; and consider an ordinance on the first of two readings. The subject site is located at 2031 F.M. 1092, south of the Murphy Road Church of Christ, east of the Casa Vaqueros Mexican Grill Restaurant (formerly El Vaquero Mexican restaurant), west of Optimum Personal Care assisted living facility and south of the intersection of Fifth Street and F.M. 1092.

8. APPOINTMENTS
(a) Consider appointing members to the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC).
9. AUTHORIZATIONS
(a) Consider the application of the Missouri City Ballet for city sponsorship of the fundraising event to be held at the City Centre at Quail Valley.
(b) Consider authorizing the issuance of a special event permit to allow the use of Buffalo Run Park for a festival on October 11, 2015, and consider an appeal of the revocation of a related permit to rent a pavilion at Buffalo Run Park.
(c) Consider authorizing the execution of an amendment to the City of Missouri City's agreement for residential, commercial and municipal solid waste and recyclable materials collection services to provide for 65-gallon carts for recyclable collection.
(d) Consider authorizing the negotiation and execution of interlocal agreements for the billing of city solid waste and recyclable material collection services.
(e) Consider authorizing the extension of a contract for bank depository services.
10. ORDINANCES
(a) Consider an ordinance providing for the assessment, levy, and collection of ad valorem taxes for the City of Missouri City, Texas, for the tax year 2015 and for each year thereafter until otherwise provided; providing the date on which such taxes shall be due and timely paid; authorizing an additional penalty for the collection of delinquent ad valorem taxes in lieu of recovering attorneys' fees; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.
(b) Consider an ordinance amending the general budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 2016; transferring various appropriations among accounts; appropriating supplemental revenue to various fund accounts; authorizing the appropriate city officials to take steps necessary to accomplish such transfers; making certain findings; and containing certain provisions relating to the subject; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.
(c) Consider an ordinance authorizing the crediting of updated service credits in the Texas Municipal Retirement System for certain City of Missouri City employees who have membership in such system; providing for increased annuities for certain City of Missouri City retirees and beneficiaries of deceased retirees; providing an effective date; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.
11. RESOLUTIONS
(a) Consider a resolution granting consent to Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District Number 47 to issue refunding bonds at a private sale.
(b) Consider a resolution nominating one or more candidates for election to one or more positions on the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District for the two-year term commencing on January 1, 2016.
