CONSENT AGENDA All consent agenda items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a councilmember so requests; in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public review. (a) Consider approving the minutes of the special and regular City Council meetings of November 7, 2016. (b) Consider an ordinance to amend the regulations and restrictions of PD Planned Development District No. 62 to allow for the location of a rental car facility with associated automobile parking lot and preparation area; providing for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; providing a penalty; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. PD No. 62 is located southwest of the intersection of State Highway 6 and Fort Bend Parkway. (c) Consider an ordinance annexing a 3.79 acre tract of land consisting of a portion of Sienna Parkway located south of Fort Bend Parkway and north of Watts Plantation Road; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. (d) Consider an ordinance annexing a 34.23 acre tract of land located in the Sienna Plantation Management District for the limited purpose of the collection of a sales and use tax; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. (e) Consider accepting water trunk lines from Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 48 for the Vicksburg Water Treatment plant. (f) Consider accepting the quarterly investment reports for the periods ending on March 31, 2016, June 30, 2016 and September 30, 2016. (g) Consider authorizing the execution of a contract for demolition and removal services.
ORDINANCES Consider an ordinance changing the name of Orchard Street, a public street located in the City of Missouri City, to Ruben Davis Drive; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading.
RESOLUTIONS (a) Consider a resolution adopting rules governing the investment of city funds; and designating the Assistant City Manager and the Finance Department Director to be responsible for the investment of city funds. (b) Consider a resolution electing for the City to participate in tax abatement and establishing guidelines and criteria governing tax abatement agreements by the city.
