PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ACTIONS (a) Zoning Public Hearings and Ordinances (1) Consider an ordinance to rezone an approximate 95.31 acre tract of land from SD Suburban district to PD Planned Development district to allow for single family residential uses; providing for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; providing a penalty; and consider the ordinance on the second and final reading. The subject site is located north of the Newpoint Estates residential subdivision and south and west of the Creekmont residential subdivision. (2) Consider an ordinance to rezone an approximate 23.06 acre tract of land from LC-2, local retail district, to PD Planned Development District to allow for the location of a mixed use development to include the existing church campus, proposed commercial uses, and multifamily residential uses; providing for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; providing a penalty; and consider the ordinance on the first of two readings.
