ORDINANCES (a) Consider an ordinance providing for a special election to be held on May 2, 2020, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Missouri City a proposition providing for or against the adoption of the fire fighters’ and police officers’ civil service law; providing for a joint election on May 2, 2020, with other entities contracting with Fort Bend County for such joint election; providing for election precincts and polling places; providing for repeal; providing for severability; and consider the ordinance on the first and final reading.
