Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Clinton Wong, Skymark Development Company, Inc. to rezone an approximate 18.06 acre tract of land from LC-3, Retail district to R-5 Townhouse residential district. The subject site is located southeast of the intersection of Lexington Boulevard/Independence Boulevard and Murphy Road (FM 1092), east of a Walgreens store, and west of Armstrong Elementary School (Fort Bend Independent School District).
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 9a above. Planning & Zoning Commission
9. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Kurt Racca of Reese/Racca Interests, Ltd. to amend Ordinance O-02-03 relating to a Specific Use Permit (SUP) - kindergarten and nursery schools, to remove an approximate 1.24 acre tract of land from the boundaries of the SUP. The underlying zoning designation of the property would remain SD, Suburban District. The subject site is located at the intersection of Silver Ridge Boulevard and Sienna Parkway, south of the Primrose School of Sienna and west of the Silver Ridge residential subdivision.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 10a above.
10. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by KTRK Television, Inc., on behalf of Joseph and Maybritt Mujadzic, to obtain a Specific Use Permit to allow for the construction of a 100 foot tower with Doppler radar and associated equipment on a 1.5350-acre of land located in an Industrial district. The subject site is located northwest of the intersection of Beltway 8 and South Garden Street, north of The Rental Store (Mustang C.A.T. equipment rental facility), south of GH Air Conditioning and Heating, LLC, and west of Landmark Electric.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final Report to City Council on item 11a above.
