8. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Roy Lemons on behalf of CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC for a Specific Use Permit to locate a 150 foot lattice tower and associated equipment shelter to support their Automated Meter System (AMS) project on a 3.250 acre tract of land, currently zoned R-2, single family residential district. The subject site is located northwest of the intersection of Evans Road and Hawkes Road, east of Meadowcreek residential subdivision, and north of Hawkes Addition residential subdivision.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 8a above.
9. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Curry Juneau on behalf of Quail Valley Church of Christ to amend Specific Use Permit #73 (O-03-14) to allow for deviations to Section 13, Signs, of the City of Missouri City Zoning Ordinance. The subject site is located northwest of the intersection of Murphy Road and Cartwright Road, north of the Valley Centre Shopping Center, south of Heritage Baptist Church, and northeast of Quail Village Townhouses residential subdivision.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 9a above.
10. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Sunlake Ltd to rezone an approximate 38.54 acre tract of land from LC-3, Retail District to PD, Planned Development District to locate planned mixed uses to include townhome, office warehouse and industrial uses. The subject site is located southeast of the intersection of Lexington Boulevard/Independence Boulevard and Murphy Road (FM 1092), east of a Walgreens store, and west of Armstrong Elementary School (Fort Bend Independent School District).
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 10a above.
11. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Mark Musemeche of MGroup to rezone an approximate 5.51 acre tract of land from LC-3, Retail District to PD, Planned Development District to allow for the development of a retirement community. The subject site is located north of the intersection of FM 1092 (Murphy Rd) and Cartwright Rd, south of the Park Manor of Quail Valley assisted living facility and east of the Waterford Village Townhomes.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 11a above.
12. CONSIDERATION OF THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE ADOPTION OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
a. Review and consideration of the reports related to the capital improvements plan and the impact fees and report to the City Council any inequities in implementing the plan or imposing the fees.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 12a above.
13. CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT
a. Consideration of the adoption of a Preliminary Report on proposed amendments to Section 4, Definitions and Section 13, Sign Regulations contained in the Zoning Ordinance and pertaining to the City's regulations for signs.
b. Call a public hearing to receive comments for or against the adoption of a Final Report to City Council on item 13a above.
