a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by the City of Missouri City to rezone approximately 272+/- acres of land, from SD, Suburban District to R-1, Single Family Residential District. The subject site is a portion of the Newpoint Estates, Section 1 residential subdivision, the Newpoint Estates, Section 2 residential subdivision and the Newpoint Estates Section 3, residential subdivision located north and west of the City of Arcola, south of the Creekmont residential subdivision.
b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 8a above. Planning & Zoning Commission
9. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT AMENDMENT
a. Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Fr. Jacob Christy of St. Joseph SyroMalabar Catholic Church to amend Specific Use Permit 185 (O-07-48) to allow for the use of a building material not listed in Section 7A.2.C2 of the Missouri City Zoning Ordinances, to wit: reinforced fiberglass cupolas. The subject site is located at 211 Present Street, Missouri City, Texas

b. Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 9a above.
10. CONSIDERATION OF THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT
a. Consideration of the adoption of a recommendation to City Council concerning a proposed amendment to the Sienna Plantation Joint Development Agreement. This proposed amendment is solely for the purpose of modifying the Land Use Plan, Exhibit D-1c for Tract F in Sienna Plantation North, which includes approximately 1,954 acres along the future Fort Bend Parkway, extending south to the existing levee easement.
11. CITY SIGN REGULATIONS
a. Update on proposed amendments to the City's Sign Regulations and consider scheduling a special meeting or work session to discuss the proposed amendments.
