7. ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS
A. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Stephen R. Ritchey, AIA on behalf of Sage Dulles Ltd., a Texas Limited Partnership to grant a Specific Use Permit for an approximate 2.7056 acre tract to facilitate the development of a private school or to allow for uses permitted within an LC-2, local retail district, and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located north of CVS and Cartwright Road, south of Plantation Creek residential subdivision and west of Plantation Park residential subdivision.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7A(1) above.
B. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
(1) To receive comments for or against a request by William W. Addison, Move It Management, LLC on behalf of BBPK, Inc. DBA Bankers Mini Storage to rezone an approximate 4.963 acre tract of land from LC-3, retail district to PD, Planned Development District to allow for the redevelopment of a self storage facility or to allow for uses permitted within an LC-3, retail district, and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located west of FM 1092, south of Quail Valley Apartment Homes, east of Brightwater residential subdivision and North of Meineke.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7B(1) above.
C. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT
(1) To receive comments for or against a request by The Offices at Rocky Creek, Ltd to amend the regulations and restrictions of PD, Planned Development District #54 to allow for the location of a church (place of assembly), and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located southwest of the intersection of State Highway 6 and Lake Olympia/Oilfield Road; west of the Houston Garden Center and east of the Colony Lakes residential subdivision. PD #54 includes a Public Storage, Brookstreet BBQ, two commercial/retail shopping centers, a Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, a professional office building and vacant land.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7C(1) above.
