A. PUBLIC HEARING FOR A ZONING MAP AMENDMENT
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Llarance L. Turner of Kelly R. Kaluza & Associates, Inc. to rezone an approximate 2.514 acre tract of land from R-5, Townhouse residential district to LC-2, Local retail district; and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located on Scanlin Road, northwest of the Missouri City, City Hall and northeast of the Parkway Trails residential subdivision.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7A(1) above.
B. PUBLIC HEARING FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Tracy C. Wooden Law Firm, P.C. on behalf of Verizon Wireless, for an SUP, Specific Use Permit to allow for the location of a telecommunications tower and associated equipment; and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located north of the Maranatha Full Gospel Church, south of the Quail Valley shopping center, east of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and west of the Missouri City Recreation and Tennis Center.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7B(1) above.
C. PUBLIC HEARING FOR A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by Darrell Whatley, Kirksey Architecture to repeal Ordinance O-06-39 pertaining to PD, Planned Development District #56 and to allow for an SUP, Specific Use Permit to locate a community college campus; and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. The subject site is located north and south of Thomas Taylor Parkway, south of the Missouri City, City Hall complex, north and east of the Quail Green West residential subdivision; and west of the Unity National Bank.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7C(1) above.
D. PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AMENDMENT
(1) Public hearing to receive comments for or against a request by BGE | Kerry R. Gilbert & Associates to amend Ordinance O-14-45 pertaining to PD, Planned Development District #96 to add additional acreage to the district and to revise the Site Layout Plan and General Development Plan as it pertains to the additional acreage; and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom. PD #96 is located north of Lake Olympia Parkway and west of the Fort Bend Parkway. The additional acreage proposed to be added to PD #96 is located north and west of Olympia Estates Section 7 & 8 residential subdivisions, at the southeast intersection of Lake Olympia Parkway and Vicksburg Boulevard.
(2) Consideration of the approval of a Final report to City Council on item 7D(1) above.
