I JUST WANTED THERE TO BE A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAKDOWN EXPLANATION ABOUT THAT.

AND IT ALSO SAID THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE SOME MONIES THAT WE NEEDED TO LOOK AT PROVIDING I GUESS, ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO, UH, IMPACT.

SO DO WE NEED TO PULL THAT FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA TO DISCUSS, OR CAN WE DISCUSS IT AS A PART OF THIS CONSENT AGENDA? YES.

IT'S JUST THE CITY MANAGER AND I'LL BE PRESENTING ON THAT.

AND, UM, AS I UNDERSTOOD SOME OF YOUR QUESTION, COUNCILMAN BONNIE, UM, WE WERE ADVISED, UH, AND IF THERE'S ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS OR ARE OFF TRACK AND LET ME KNOW POLICE, UM, WE RECEIVED NOTICE LAST WEEK THAT THE COUNTY HAD TAKEN ACTION TO INCREASE OUR FUNDING, UH, BY AN ADDITIONAL $2 MILLION FROM THE ORIGINAL, UH, 3.763 MILLION.

THEY HAD GIVEN US OUT OF THE AMOUNT THEY RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS FROM CARES FUNDS.

AND SO, UH, WE DID RECEIVE THAT ALONG WITH HARRIS COUNTY, WE HAD FUNDS THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED, YOU ALREADY WERE AWARE OF.

AND, UH, ALSO, UH, WE HAD SOME CDBG FUNDS THAT WERE BROUGHT FORWARD, UH, WITH RESPECT TO THE CDBG CB FUNDING FOR CARES ACT.

AND THAT GAVE US A TOTAL NOW OF, UH, 6 MILLION, $108,775.

UH, WITH THAT ADDITIONAL FUNDING, UH, FORT BEND COUNTY DID ADVISE THAT WE WERE RESTRICTED AS TO THE AMOUNT, WHAT WE COULD DO WITH THE AMOUNT THEY HAD PROVIDED THE 2 MILLION, AND THAT IS GOING TO BE RESTRICTED TO THE USES FOR THE, UH, THE, UH, RENTAL MORTGAGE AND UTILITY, UH, PROGRAM THAT, UH, WE HAVE IN PLACE NOW, AS WELL AS THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS, THOSE ARE THE ONLY TWO PROGRAMS AND WE CAN SPEND THAT ON, UH, THE RMU WAS ORIGINALLY ALLOCATED HALF A MILLION DOLLARS AND TO DATE, UH, THERE WAS $464,753 THAT'S BEEN SPENT OR HAS BEEN ALLOCATED FOR REQUESTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE ON THAT MONEY.

AND SO WE NEED TO, UH, OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE STILL OTHERS THAT ARE REQUESTING FUNDING THROUGH THAT.

AND SO, UH, WE ARE RECOMMENDING THAT, UH, WE INCREASE THAT AMOUNT AND, UH, MAKE A BUDGET AMENDMENT, UH, FOR THE, THE, UH, ASCENDING FROM 500,000 TO A MILLION DOLLARS FOR THAT PROGRAM.

AND THEN, UH, FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS, UH, FUNDING, WE, UH, ARE LOOKING AS, UH, THE MILLION IN, UH, TAKEN FROM THERE UNTIL WE MAKE A BUDGET AMENDMENT NEXT MEETING WITH YOU.

THIS CAME UP AS I SAID LATE LAST WEEK.

SO WE WOULD DO A BUDGET AMENDMENT AND REPLENISH THE MONEY IN THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM.

AND WITH THAT, UH, WE ALSO DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT, UH, WE HAD A SPENDING LIMIT OF 15,000 PER APPLICANT FOR THE ENTIRE AMOUNT THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE PROGRAM.

UH, AND WE RECOMMEND THAT WE GO TO $20,000 FOR THAT, UH, IN, IN ADDITION TO THAT AND TALKING TO THE COUNTY AND TALKING TO, UH, IMPACT OUR CONSULTANT.

UH, WE ARE LOOKING AT ALSO, UH, BEING ABLE TO OFFER WITH THE ADDITIONAL FUNDING.

WE HAVE A, UH, A PPP PROGRAM OR A PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM THAT, UH, YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF NATIONALLY, THE COUNTY HAD THEIRS IN PLACE FOR THE COUNTY.

DID THEY HAVE EXHAUSTED THEIR FUNDING OF IT AND ARE NO LONGER, UH, UTILIZING THAT OR OFFERING THAT? SO THAT ALLOWS US TO BE ABLE TO DO IT.

UH, SOME OF THE BUSINESS OWNERS WE MET WITH LAST WEEK, UH, MENTIONED THE PPP.

AND SO WE ARE WORKING WITH, UH, AND AGAIN, THIS WILL BE CONTINGENT ON COUNCIL APPROVAL.

UH, WE'RE WORKING WITH THE IMPACT GROUP TO, UH, WORK THAT PROGRAM OUT AND GET SOME INFORMATION FOR YOU AS A GUIDELINE FOR, UH, IMPLEMENTATION OF THAT PROGRAM.

AND TONIGHT WHAT WE'RE ASKING IS, AGAIN, FOR YOU TO ACCEPT THE CARES ACT, UH, FUNDS FROM THE FORT BEND COUNTY, UH, AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER, NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE THE AMENDMENTS FOR THE CONTRACTS WITH IMPACT.

AND WE, WE, UH, HAVE NOT HAD ANY INDICATION FROM THEM AT THIS POINT IN TIME, BUT, UH, WE NEED TO LOOK AT THEIR CONTRACT AS TO IF THERE WOULD ESSENTIALLY BE INCREASED WITH THE ADDITION OF THE PPP PROGRAM, UH, FOR ADMINISTRATION OF THAT.

UM, AND THEN IF SO, UH, THE CITY MANAGER, WE'RE, WE'RE SEEKING AUTHORIZATION FOR HIM TO BE ABLE TO NEGOTIATE THAT CONTRACT, AS WELL AS THE FORT BEND COUNTY TO IMPLEMENT, UH, ANY, UH, IMPLEMENTATION WOULD TAKE PLACE FOR ACCEPTANCE OF THE ALLOCATION OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE RENTAL UTILITY AND, UM, RMU A MORTGAGE PROGRAM FOR THIS, THIS, AND THIS AS WELL AS SMALL BUSINESS.

SO, UH, STAFF, AGAIN, WE WOULD HAVE A BUDGET AMENDMENT, UH, SUBSEQUENT AGENDA THAT WOULD, UH, TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE FACT THAT WE NOW HAVE $6.1 MILLION, AND WE WOULD COME BACK AND ON THE SUPPLEMENTAL SHEET THAT WE PROVIDED TO YOU, UH, REPLENISH THE,

UH, REALM MORTGAGE UTILITY.

AGAIN, WE'RE RECOMMENDING, WE MOVE FROM, UH, THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM, HALF A MILLION TO THE RENTAL MORTGAGE UTILITY AND REPLENISH THE SMALL BUSINESS WITH A HALF MILLION TO GET IT BACK TO A MILLION RAISING WE'RE HAVING TO DO THAT IS AGAIN THAT THE SMALL BUSINESS, UH, OR EXCUSE ME, THE RMU PROGRAM HAS BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL AND THAT'S WHERE WE NEED THE MONEY CURRENTLY.

AND WE CAN REPLENISH THE, UH, OTHER WHITNEY SMALL BUSINESS WITH THE HALF MILLION DOLLAR BUDGET AMENDMENT, UH, WHEN WE COME BACK TO YOU AT THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING, UM, AND AGAIN, UH, UH, WE RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THIS AND BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAVEN'T YET.

I JUST WANTED TO, WHEN I STARTED THE COVER MEMO AND I SAW, I DID SEE, UH, THANKFULLY PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE RMU PROGRAM AND THAT IT WAS UP TO 464,740 $53.

SO I CAN UNDERSTAND BASED OFF OF YOUR EXPLANATION, WHY THERE WAS MORE MONEY NEEDED.

I GUESS MY ONLY CONCERN WAS IN THE COVER MEMO WHEN IT SAID THAT, UH, YOU WERE RECOMMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL, WE ALLOCATE A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS OF FUNDING FROM THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM THAT WE ADVOCATED FOR TO THE RMU PROGRAM.

UH, THAT'S WHERE MY, I GUESS, CONCERNS WERE AS WELL AS THE, UH, IMPACT CONTRACT NEEDING TO BE AMENDMENTS AMENDED, TO PROVIDE SERVICES, TO ALLOW THEM TO FACILITATE THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS.

BUT MY QUESTION ALSO IS YOU MENTIONED THE PPP, UM, THIS IS A PROGRAM THAT I'M ASSUMING IMPACT EXECUTED BEFORE BEING COUNTY.

AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WILL BE EASILY IMPLEMENTED THROUGH, UH, THROUGH THESE CARES ACT FUNDS.

YES, SIR, WE BELIEVE SO.

AND WHEN IN FACT WE HAD A CALL WITH THEM TODAY AND WE'RE PUTTING TOGETHER THE GUIDELINES FOR THAT BASED ON THE PROGRAM THROUGH THE COUNTY.

UM, AND, UH, WE DO HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE FROM, UH, IMPACT, UH, GILBERT IS ON THE LINE WITH US IF, UH, DAN, ANYTHING TO ADD TO THAT, BUT THEY ARE COMING BACK TO US WITH, UH, INFORMATION ON HOW TO THE GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THAT PROGRAM.

AND THEN TO TOUCH.

ON THE OTHER POINT, YOU HAD ASKED ABOUT THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM.

WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT DOESN'T, UM, ISN'T LOWER OR ISN'T AFFECTED NEGATIVELY.

AND SO WE'RE GOING TO COME BACK AND MAKE A BUNCH OF THEM TO INCREASE THAT TO $500,000, ADDITIONAL 500,000 TO A MILLION BACK TO A MILLION WHERE IT WAS AT, UH, PRIOR TO MOVING THAT, THAT 500,000 FROM THERE TO THE RMU.

IT'S A MATTER OF NEEDING THAT CASH NOW IN THE, OR NOT CASH THAT THE FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR THE RMU, UH, MORE SO THAN THE SMALL BUSINESS AT THIS TIME, BUT BOTH WOULD BE A MILLION.

AND I BELIEVE IT WAS IN APRIL, UH, POTENTIALLY BEING ABLE TO GO BACK IN TIME FOR THAT.

SO, UH, THERE'S A, IT'S A SHORT WINDOW WITH RESPECT TO THE PPP.

AND THEN WE, UH, WE ALSO, UH, JUST ONE THING THAT CAME UP IN THE CALL LAST WEEK, JUST IN THE EVENT, YOU HAD A QUESTION ABOUT THIS IS THAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN, UH, WHO HAVE BEEN IN THE SMALL BUSINESS, UH, LEASED WORDAGE PROGRAM.

THEY ARE NOW QUALIFIED.

THOSE HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE PROCESS.

AND SO WHEN THEIR, UH, NEXT MONTH COMES UP, THEY WON'T HAVE TO GO BACK THROUGH THAT PROCESS.

I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT WE AS A COUNSELOR, UH, IF WE COULD GET A LIST OF THE BUSINESSES AND THE RESIDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE RMU FUNDING AND THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM FUNDING, THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, I WILL CHECK AND SEE WITH RESPECT TO, UH, AND AGAIN, UH, TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE WON'T BE ANY ISSUES WITH RESPECT TO, UH, PRIVACY ISSUES, BUT WE'LL DEFINITELY CHECK INTO THAT.

AND SO THEY HAVE COLLECTIVE REGULATIONS FOR LANDSCAPING AND SCREENING, BUT THE OVERALL MAINTENANCE WOULD FALL TO EACH OF THOSE PROPERTY OWNERS.

SO, UM, REPRESENTATIVES FROM LJA ENGINEERING ARE ON THE LINE AND THEY HAVE A SHORT PRESENTATION THAT WILL DESCRIBE THE ACTUAL PUMP STATION FACILITY.

UM, SO I'M JUST GOING TO GIVE SOME GENERAL BACKGROUND ON THE SITE AND THEN ALSO, UM, THE SUP APPROVAL AS WELL AS, UM, THE, UH, RECOMMENDATIONS AND BEING CONSIDERED.

SO JUST REALLY QUICKLY, UM, THIS PROPERTY THAT'S OUTLINED WITH, OR THAT THE PROPERTY THAT THE MUD HOMES WAS PREVIOUSLY CONSIDERED AS PART OF THE COLONY LAKES CONCEPT PLAN.

UM, AND THAT WAS CONCEPTUALLY PLANNED OUT IN THE MID 1990S TO THE EARLY TWO THOUSANDS.

UM, IT WAS ORIGINALLY TO, UH, PLAN TO INCLUDE A DRAINAGE FACILITY.

UH, THERE WAS ALSO SOME DISCUSSION ON, UH, PROVIDING RECREATIONAL TRAILS ALONG THE STRETCH OF THE TRAINING'S FACILITY.

UM, AS WELL AS A FUTURE SECTION OF THE SUBDIVISION, UH, TO EXTEND OUT INTO THIS AREA.

UM, THE MUD WAS DEEDED THE PROPERTY BETWEEN, UH, 2003 AND 2007 GENERALLY.

AND SO THEY'VE OWNED AND MAINTAINED THIS PROPERTY SINCE THAT TIME.

UH, THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT FOR A STORMWATER ABOVE-GROUND STORM WATER PUMP STATION, UH, WAS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY, UH, EARLIER THIS YEAR, UH, LATE SUMMER, UH, WITH CONSTRUCTION PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION.

UM, AND AGAIN, THE MUD ENGINEERS ARE ON THE LINE AND THEY'LL GO INTO THE DETAILS OF THE SYSTEM ITSELF.

BUT AS A RESULT OF THE REVIEW OF THE CONSTRUCTION PLANS, UH, THE REQUIREMENT FOR A FLAT, A SUBDIVISION THAT WAS RECOGNIZED AS WELL AS THE REQUIREMENT FOR A SPECIFIC DEPARTMENT.

AND IT WAS DETERMINED BASED ON THE SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT THAT, UM, ADDITIONAL BUFFERING, UH, WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED, UM, ON THE FENCING REQUIREMENT.

THE ORIGINAL PLAN FROM THE MUD WAS TO ENCLOSE, UH, THIS FACILITY WITH A CHAIN LINK FENCE, AND THEY'VE SINCE REVISED THEIR PLANS TO MEET THE CITY'S, UH, FENCING REQUIREMENTS FOR COMMUNITY FENCING.

AND THAT WOULD BE A WOOD FENCE AND CLOSURE MINIMUM EIGHT FEET, UM, AROUND THE PERIMETER OF, UM, THE FACILITY ITSELF.

AND THEN ALSO IN THE ORDINANCE THAT YOU'RE CONSIDERING, UH, WOULD BE, UH, LIGHTING STANDARDS TO HELP CONTROL THE FLOW OF WHITE, UM, ONTO, UH, NEARBY, UH, RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES.

SO IT WOULD PROVIDE A BENCHMARK THAT, UM, IF IT EXCEEDS THAT MINIMUM AMOUNT OF THAT MITIGATION WOULD BE PROVIDED TO HELP, UH, CONTROL, UM, THE, THE FLOW NEXT SLIDE, PLEASE.

UH, I GOT A BRIEF PRESENTATION, UH, FOR YOU ABOUT THE PUMP STATION, HOW IT'S GOING TO OPERATE AND WHAT OUR, UH, REASON FOR THE, FOR THE PROJECT IS, UH, FIRST, I GUESS JENNIFER TOUCHED ON SOME OF THIS, BUT JUST A QUICK UNDERSTANDING OF THE, OF THE AREA.

UH, THE DISTRICT ENCOMPASSES THE COLONY LAKES AND THE PEBBLE CREEK HAD RIVERSTONE COMMUNITIES ABOUT 520 ACRES, UH, ABOUT 430 ACRES OF THAT IS WITHIN THE DISTRICTS LEVY SYSTEM.

UH, THE REST IS SOUTH OF OUR LEVY.

UH, THAT'S THE, UH, NEAR ELKINS HIGH SCHOOL, UH, RIVER POINT CHURCH AND SOME OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES.

UH, THE CURRENT SYSTEM FOR THE DISTRICT.

UH, WE DO HAVE AN OUTFALL DRAINAGE STRUCTURE, GRAVITY OUTFALL STRUCTURE, UH, WITH SLUICE GATES AND FLAP GATES.

IT'S ABOUT A 6,700 FEET OF LEVY, UH, AND SEVERAL DRAINAGE RESERVOIRS WITHIN THE DISTRICT.

UH, WE DON'T CURRENTLY HAVE THE ABILITY TO, UH, PUMP OUT OF THE DISTRICT, UH, IN A PERMANENT MANNER.

WE DO HAVE A TEMPORARY PUMPS THAT WE HAVE PURCHASED AND HAVE RENTED IN THE PAST AS A DISTRICT.

UM, AND I THINK, I GUESS, AS YOU ALL KNOW, UH, WITHIN THE LAST FOUR TO FIVE YEARS, WE'VE HAD SEVERAL HIGH RIVER OF RENT EVENTS ON THE BRAZOS RIVER, WHICH DOES AFFECT THE DISTRICT AND WE'VE LOST GRAVITY OUTFALL, UH, WHICH IS NOT CAUSED ANY STRUCTURAL FLOODING IN THE DISTRICT, BUT WE HAVE SEEN HIGH WATER, UH, AND IT HAS NECESSITATED US TO BRING IN TEMPORARY PUMPING, UH, TO GET WATER OUT OF THE DISTRICT, UM, TO NOT HAVE TROUBLES WITH FLOODING.

AND I GUESS HERE'S WHAT WE'RE PROPOSING WITH THE PUMP STATION.

UH, IT'S, UH, IT'S A 29,000 GALLON PER MINUTE, UH, FACILITY THAT'S THE, FROM PUMPING CAPACITY.

SO WE'VE GOT THREE PUMPS THAT ARE PLANNED.

UH, IT'S GENERALLY GOING TO WORK WITH TWO PUMPS AND SERVICE, WHICH IS THE 29,000 GALLON PER MINUTE, UH, CAPACITY TO ABOUT 65 CFS.

UH, WE DO HAVE SALUTE SKATES, AS I

MENTIONED BEFORE, WE PROPOSE TO UPGRADE THOSE WHERE WE CAN OPERATE THEM, UM, ELECTRICAL ELECTRICALLY AND NOT HAVE TO DO THE MANUALLY, WHICH WILL BE A BIG HELP TO THE OPERATOR.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THIS PROJECT IS TO IMPROVE OUR ACCESS TO THE PUMP STATION.

UH, SOME OF THE EXHIBITS THAT YOU SAW SHOW, WE ONLY HAVE ACCESS TO OUR EXISTING OUTFALL STRUCTURE VIA JOHNSON FERRY ROAD, OUR THOMPSON FAIR, EXCUSE ME, AND STATE HIGHWAY SIX.

EACH OF THOSE ARE ABOUT 2000 FEET FROM OUR EXISTING OUTFALL.

WE HAVE TO DRIVE THE LEVEE TO GET THERE, UH, WHICH IS PRETTY DIFFICULT DURING AN EMERGENCY EVENT.

UM, THIS STRUCTURE IS ONLY INTENDED TO BE USED WHEN WE ARE NOT ABLE TO PUMP, UH, ARE NOT ABLE TO GRAVITY OUTFALL OUT OF THE DISTRICT.

SO, UH, ONLY WHEN THE RIVER IS UP AND OUR FLAT GATES AND SLUICE GATES ARE CLOSED, WHERE WE INTEND TO OPERATE THE PUMP STATION.

UH, WE DO HAVE SOME EXISTING, UH, UH, TREES THAT, THAT HELP TO SCREEN THE, THE AREA.

UH, IN ADDITION TO THAT IS, UH, AS WAS MENTIONED, WE ARE PROPOSING A PRIVACY FENCE AROUND THE SITE, UH, TO FURTHER MINIMIZE, UH, THE ABILITY TO SEE THE PUMP STATION, OUR PUMP, THE ACTUAL BUILDING AND CONTROL BUILDING IS ABOUT 200 FEET FROM THE NEAREST RESIDENCE.

UH, WE WILL HAVE BACKUP POWER.

UH, WE DO PROPOSE, UH, AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR THAT WILL BE USED IF WE EVER LOSE, UH, POWER TO DECIDE VIA ELECTRICITY.

UH, THIS IS A VIEW OF THE W THE EXISTING OUTFALL STRUCTURE, WHICH IS WHERE THE PUMP STATION IS PROPOSED.

UH, AND THIS, THE PICTURE THAT YOU SEE, IT'LL BE JUST TO THE RIGHT OF THE, UH, OF THE RAILING THAT YOU SEE.

AND THOSE ARE THE NEAREST RESIDENCE HOMES THAT, UH, WILL BE IN THE VICINITY OF THE PUMP STATION.

UH, THAT'S A BETHANY BAY DRIVE, UH, THAT YOU SEE THERE.

THAT'S WHAT WE'LL BE TAKING ACCESS TO ALLOW US TO HAVE BETTER, UM, ABILITY TO ACCESS THE SITE DURING EMERGENCY EVENTS.

UH, THIS IS JUST A LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION JUST TO GIVE YOU A, AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE, WHAT I TALKED ABOUT WITH THE GRAVITY OUTFALL SYSTEM.

THIS IS A NORMAL EVERYDAY SITUATION FOR THE DISTRICT.

IF WE RECEIVE RAIN, UH, NO HIGH WATER IN THE BRAZOS RIVER, WE HAVE GRAVITY OUTFALL TO MAINTAIN, UH, DRAINAGE AND KEEP THE, THE, THE STREETS, THE, THE WATER IN THE STREETS TO A MINIMUM.

UH, SO THAT'S OUR NORMAL OPERATING CONDITION.

UH, THE DISTRICT DID PERFORM A STUDY, UH, WITHIN THE PAST YEAR THAT, UH, THAT LOOKED AT THE SITUATION IN, IN LIGHT OF THE, UH, RELEASE OF ATLAS 14 DATA AND, UH, THE HIGHER RAINFALL EVENTS THAT HAVE, THAT ARE ACCOMPANYING THAT, UH, AND WITH THE GRAVITY OUTFALL RESTRICTED, WHERE WE CANNOT USE IT AND A LARGE STORM EVENT INSIDE THE DISTRICT, UH, WE DID SEE THAT THERE WAS A POTENTIAL FOR, FOR STRUCTURAL FLOODING IN THE DISTRICT.

AND THAT'S WHAT NECESSITATED US MOVING FORWARD WITH THE PUMP STATION.

UM, I'M HAVING TROUBLE MOVING THE SLIDES TO SHOW THAT THAT FOR YOU, THERE WE GO.

SO THIS IS IF WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING WITH A PUMP STATION AND WE LOST GRAVITY OUTFALL, WE WOULD HAVE, WE WOULD BRING IN TEMPORARY PUMPS.

SO THIS WOULD NOT BE A REALISTIC SITUATION, BUT WE WANTED TO HAVE MORE CONTROL OVER THAT TO HAVE A PERMANENT PUMPING FACILITY.

UH, THIS WOULD BE THE POTENTIAL SCENARIO IF WE GOT AN ATLAS 14, UH, TYPE RAINFALL EVENT, WHICH IS 16 AND A HALF FAT, 16 AND A HALF INCHES IN 24 HOURS, EXCUSE ME.

UH, THIS WOULD BE THE POTENTIAL SCENARIO THAT WE WOULD BE HOPING TO AVOID BY BUILDING THE PUMP STATION, UH, WITH THE PUMP STATION IN PLACE.

THIS IS WHAT OUR ANALYSIS SHOWED WITH THE PUMP STATION, THE CAPACITY THAT WE'RE PROPOSING AGAIN WITH RESTRICTED OUTFALL, UH, WE WOULD KEEP THE, THE PAWNING LEVEL, UH, TO ABOUT 64 AND A HALF, WHICH IS WITHIN THE STREETS, UM, OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE, BUT WOULD NOT PUT ANY STRUCTURES AT RISK IN THE DISTRICT.

UM, JUST FOR REFERENCE THE 29,000 GALLONS PER MINUTE IS 65 CFS.

UH, WHEN WE'RE OUT FALLING TO THE BRAZOS RIVER AND FLAT BANK CREEK, UH, VIA GRAVITY, WE ARE ALLOWED TO DISCHARGE ABOUT 447 CFS, OR ABOUT LESS THAN 15% OF OUR, UH, TOTAL CAPACITY.

WE'RE VERY RESTRICTED ON THE RELEASE VIA THE PUMP STATION.

SO IT'S REALLY JUST TOO, ALTHOUGH WE'LL STILL SEE WATER STORING IN OUR LAKES AND CHANNELS, THIS WILL ALLOW US TO, UH, MITIGATE

SOME OF THAT PONDING AND, AND GET AT LEAST A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER OUT DURING AN EMERGENCY EVENT.

AND THAT CONCLUDES MY PRESENTATION.

THIS IS A QUICK, UH, UH, SCHEMATIC OR CROSS SECTION OF THE PUMP STATION SHOWS YOU THE PROPOSED CONTROL BUILDING.

UH, WE'RE ALSO PROPOSING SOME, UH, UH, STORAGE, UH, COVERED STORAGE, UM, TO STORE THE TEMPORARY PUMPS THAT THE DISTRICT PURCHASED AND OTHER FLOOD FINDING EQUIPMENT.

THE BUILDING, UM, IS ABOUT 14 FEET ABOVE GROUND.

THE STORAGE, UH, IS ABOUT 16 FEET ABOVE GROUND.

SO THEY DO IT, THEY ARE HIGHER THAN OUR FENCE.
